Tortilla Assembly Line Worker

Role:
The Tortilla Assembly Line Worker plays a vital role in the production at La Luz Tortilla Factory.
You will work alongside one assembly line worker to sort and pack tortillas.
As part of a rotating schedule, you will spend one hour working by the oven, where you will press dough balls and load them into the oven.
This role reports to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Sorting tortillas by size on an assembly line.
- Packing sorted tortillas into appropriate packaging.
- Rotate to oven duties.
- Adhering to quality standards and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Ability to withstand high heat work environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong physical endurance and stamina.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience in food production is preferred but not required.
Results:
To thrive in this role, you must work with another assembly worker to ensure tortillas are of good quality and packaged properly. Here are the results we expect out of this role.
- Presentation: We will always focus on how the product looks when packaged and outside of packaging.
- Efficiency: We will work as fast as we can without disrupting the quality of the product.
- Collaboration: We will work together as a team to ensure we are on pace to finish production on time.
Location:
San Antonio, TX
Availability:
Wed-Sun 4am-12pm with flexibility to work till 2pm on occasion.
Compensation:
$12-$14/hour
